Assembly is a job where experience compounds. The first PAX wardrobe takes someone a full afternoon; the fiftieth takes a fraction of that, comes out square, and the doors actually line up. Same for exercise bikes, where a cable routed wrong at step six means disassembling half the machine at step twenty.
We build it where it's going to live, level it, anchor what should be anchored, and haul the cardboard out with us. You get the finished thing — not a garage full of packaging and three bolts of unknown importance.
Every build is a flat rate, quoted in writing before any work starts. Tell us what it is and where it's going — a photo of the box label is all we need.
Multiple boxes from the same delivery? Quote them together — one visit through the whole pile is the best value.
Playsets are the assembly job families underestimate most. The box says "weekend project" and means it: hundreds of bolts, panels that need two sets of hands, and anchoring instructions that matter more than anything else in the manual. Done wrong, a swing set walks across the lawn a little more every summer.
We do these as a Saturday-morning specialty — show up early, build it level on ground that's rarely level, anchor it to spec, and torque-check every fastener the kids will be hanging from. You keep your weekend; they get the playset while it's still light out.
Most backyard playsets are a half-day job; big multi-tower sets can run longer, and trampolines usually take a couple of hours. We'll give you a realistic window with the quote, and Saturday mornings are our favorite slot for these — the kids are on it by lunch.
Yes, and for tall dressers, bookcases and wardrobes we strongly recommend it — tip-over anchoring into a stud takes minutes during assembly and is the single best safety upgrade in a house with kids. Same for basketball hoops and playsets: anchored per the manufacturer's spec, not just set on the lawn.
Tell us before the visit if you can. We inventory hardware before starting a big build, so a missing bag gets caught early instead of at step 47. If a part is broken we'll build everything that can be built and leave you a clear note of exactly what to request from the manufacturer.
